Since the arrival of the Jesuits, San Javier has been a fundamental part of the viticulture of Argentina and of Córdoba in particular. A journey through history, organic and biodynamic winemaking techniques and tasting of our wines from Finca La Matilde.

It is a meeting, a sharing that begins with wines and you never know where it is going, the sunset will be the setting for this experience.

OWN CREOLE HORSE CABIN

Marcelo starts very early, when everyone is resting. You have to feed the chickens, collect the eggs and give the horse a ration of food.

Our horses have a very important presence and role as part of our harmony with nature. We are fascinated by his sensitivity and intelligence.

We are committed to practical and participatory teaching at the Country Horse Riding School, where from the first day, you can enjoy contact and mutual knowledge with the animals. From guided horseback rides of all levels among the vineyards, olive and fruit trees of the region to initiation classes. We offer different activities for you to enjoy that connection.

Ferreyra Post

An activity that can be done on horseback or walking.

We leave from a meeting place. We climb the mountain appreciating the views and enjoying the contact with the mountain air. After walking for about 2 and a half hours, the Ferreyra family welcomes us with a homemade meal with their usual kindness and courtesy. We go down to the stream of crystal clear water and then begin the return.

La Salamanca and Piedra Bola Trail

We leave by vehicle from La Matilde. We took a path from La Población along the Aguas Amarillas stream and the canyon until we reached this mythical cave.

We climb the flagstones with panoramic views of the Valley until we reach La Piedra Bola. After the descent we return to La Matilde by vehicle. Includes guide, food/snack and water.

Traslasierra Wine Trail Circuit

We leave by vehicle from La Matilde visiting the main wineries in the area.

In each winery you can see the vineyard and taste the wines.

The time in each winery will be approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Includes guide, food/snack and water.
