LA MATILDE BOUTIQUE WINERY

We planted the vineyard in 2011. Today, there are 6 hectares of Malbec, Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, and Roussanne.

A fundamental hallmark of our wines is the native environment of the vineyard: talas, molles, quebrachos, algarrobos, jarillas, tinti tacos, breas, and countless other indigenous species that impart such a distinctive character to our wines.

Philosophy

Our philosophy and certified Biodynamic production method, endorsed by Demeter, allows us to preserve and enhance the identity so strongly shaped by the native flora.

We craft our wines in ovoid concrete vessels, fermenting with indigenous yeasts, without chemical additives, carefully guiding the grapes in the winery so that the result is a high-end wine with a fundamental character of terroir interpretation.

The terroir of Traslasierra is characterized by producing wines with highly aromatic and spicy profiles.

Wild character

Traslasierra is the region of Córdoba that still preserves the highest concentration of native forest. Therefore, the wines have a wild profile, with notes of pepper, jarilla, rosemary, and other elements that make them truly special.

The alluvial soils, formed at the foot of the high sierras, contain mica, minerals such as feldspar, and limestone rocks, which contribute minerality and acidity to the wines.

The winery can be visited throughout the year, with the opportunity to take part in different activities: guided tours with wine tastings, lunches and dinners with pairings, full moon tastings, sunset tastings with the setting sun, and more.
